LABORATORIES

Condensed Matter Physics Laboratory

Basic research is conducted on quantum theory of atoms, molecules, and condensed matter, as well as statistical mechanics applied to condensed matter. Additionally, advanced experimental and theoretical research is carried out, aiming for a close relationship between light sources such as lasers and nanoscopic or mesoscopic structures.

Person in Charge:  Peter Iza, Ph. D.

Location: 9G Building | Lab005 / O001

Theoretical Physics Laboratory

Studies on complex systems and analysis of time series in physical, biological, and economic systems are conducted, along with the determination of optomechanical properties of low-dimensional materials, with emphasis on the dynamics of underlying models that provide information about the transport mechanisms of relevant physical quantities.

Person in Charge: Alexander López, Ph. D.
