ESPOL Student Drives Improvements in Logistics Processes Through an Internship
What began as knowledge acquired in the classroom soon became operational decisions, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives within a high-demand operation. For Paúl Alberto Segarra Varas, an eighth-semester Logistics and Transportation Engineering student at ESPOL’s Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, his internship in the Logistics Projects area of Tonicorp’s Raw Materials Warehouse in Guayaquil provided the opportunity to transform theory into solutions for real-world industry challenges.
The 8th Chemistry Olympiad and Inter-School Competition Begins with Students from Seven Cities Across Ecuador
On Saturday, December 13, the 8th Chemistry Olympiad and the 8th Inter-School Chemistry Competition officially began. A total of 148 students from different parts of Ecuador participated in the first-round examination, taking the first step toward advancing to the next stage of the competition.
More than a thousand people participated in the 2nd Data Analysis School, reflecting its wide reach
On December 5, the 2nd Data Analysis School concluded successfully, reaffirming its role as a training initiative that extends beyond the classroom and strengthens practical skills in data analysis. Organized by the Statistics program of ESPOL’s Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (FCNM), the event took place from December 1 to 5 and brought together 1,258 participants.
FCNM boost Young Talent Through the 2nd Ecuadorian Statistics Olympiad
The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (FCNM) at ESPOL reaffirmed its commitment to developing future generations of professionals by organizing, in collaboration with the Ecuadorian Statistical Society, the 2nd Ecuadorian Statistics Olympiad. This academic event brought together 552 participants from 54 schools across different provinces, fostering interest in data science among young people throughout the country.
