Academic Excellence Drives Logistics and Transportation Student Toward Research Stay in Canada
Academic excellence and a strong commitment to research have opened the door to an international experience for Mauricio Castro, a student of Logistics and Transportation Engineering at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (FCNM) at ESPOL, who was selected by the École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) in Canada to undertake a undergraduate research internship.
Talent and curiosity shone at the FCNM 2025 Science Fair
Last Friday, August 15, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (FCNM) held a new edition of the Science Fair at the ESPOL library. This annual event brings together the polytechnic community and various Educational Units from the city, with the purpose of sparking interest in science among high school students.

MSc. Alisson García Herrera, a faculty member of the Logistics and Transportation program at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (FCNM) of ESPOL and a doctoral candidate at the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), was awarded the Best Oral Communication prize in the Transport Systems and Mobility symposium at the 6th Doctoral Congress in Engineering 2025 (DCE25), held at the University of Porto, Portugal.
